About

Observations is place to record and share events that are occurring along the way, the journey from Boulder CO to Bergen Norway. A place where I can store the thoughts and images and share with friends and family.

A coastal cliffside trail winding along a rugged shoreline, with a bright teal enamel water bottle and a small, well-used hiking journal resting on a flat rock in the foreground. Wild grasses, tiny colorful wildflowers, and a crumpled paper map peek from under the journal’s elastic band. Below, turquoise waves crash against dark rocks, sending up white spray. The sky is a clear, vivid blue with a few wispy clouds. Mid-afternoon sunlight creates crisp contrasts and sparkling highlights on the water. Photographic realism, wide-angle composition with strong depth of field so everything from the rock to the horizon is in focus. The atmosphere feels playful, fresh, and energizing, capturing an authentic moment from a coastal adventure.
